Doggy Den & Brad from 4Paws have teamed up to bring Dogs of Whangarei an amazing boarding experience. We only take a small number of boarding dogs so that they all receive the love and attention they deserve while you are away! We can cater for dogs with health conditions, high needs,anxious dogs, entire males & human reactive dogs.

What does my dog do?
During the week days your doggo will spend the day in daycare romping, and playing with all the daycare dogs. Once all the daycare dogs go home one of our wonderful staff members will prepare them for bed in their own designated individual.
On the weekend Brad does all the caring fro your pooch and makes sure they gets LOTS of fun and playtime.
Our amazing Den team does all the day to day care, while Brad takes over at night and on weekends. Brad lives on premises so there is always someone here during the night.
What should I bring?
We provide beds, blankets, toys, water and bowls while your doggo stays at our facility. We like to provide bedding as sometimes dogs cant get anxious and stressed while they are boarding so we like to provide bedding that cant be chewed or destroyed.
Because every dog is on a different diet you will need to provide food for your pooch, alternatively we can supply a high quality food at $5 per day. We have a fridge & freezer available for raw feeding or dog roll.
Does my dog need to be desexed and vaccinated?
DESEXED - NO!
VACCINATED - YES!
We do not require your dog to be desexed , however if your bitch is on heat they may not come. If your entire male is causing issues during boarding or daycare we may require someone to come pick them up. Our staff a trained to manage entire males in a daycare group and settling them in is usually no issue at all but on the odd occasion they may not suit our boarding.
Vaccinations are a requirement and our staff will need a photocopy of them before your pooch can attend boarding. We require DHPPI, Leptospirosis and Bordetella (Canine Cough)
Can i check in on my dog?
Being dog owners ourselves we know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your dogs in the care of someone else, so we are more than happy to send you updates via email, phone, text or even facebook! We regularly post photos to our facebook page so chance are you will see them there!
We will also phone you of your beloved pupper isn't settling in or doing well in our care - this can, and does happen sometimes.
